The wind has calmed down now I might go outside again to tend to my beans.

The snow is almost gone and it's still only mid-April!!

I can't wait till the grass turns green and the leaves start growing....

It's hot here.  We already have had the AC running for a week or two.  AZ is lame.

It's brilliant sunlight and quite warm.

The first day I've had the central heating off this year.

Also I managed to trim the grass at the front of the neighbour's cat litter tray (AKA MY FRONT LAWN).

I am not pleasantly disposed to the unhygienic practises of the feline foliage fouler.

Very pleasant at the moment. it's in the lower sixties which is a relief after all the snow we got this winter.

It snowed for a couple hours or so. There was a lot of snow coming down, but it was warm enough earlier that it all melted as it came down.

I went into town today without a coat and I was still warm.

We've had some days like that, but not many.

I thought it had stopped snowing, but I guess that was only briefly. It began snowing at 3:30 (it's now 7:30) and the ground is white. Silly April weather.

Last year, when I was in Saskatoon for Easter (April 5), there was still two to three feet of snow, depending on where you stepped.

Brilliant sunshine again. No central heating, might cut the back grass if I have time.

Most of the snow from yesterday has already melted. :)

The sky doesn't look very springish though.

It was a bit grey and wet early this morning but the cloud is breaking up and I see blue patches.

Third day without central heating but I am wearing a jumper.

It rained all day, provoking the grass to sprout up, finally. It's very wet out now, but it sure beats snow.

Right now it's glemmening out there. And that's bad.

The weather is starting to get really warm where I live, and tomorrow it's supposed to reach 26 °C.

Suffice it to say, I'm not happy about this at all; it only reminds me that the sweltering hell known as late Spring/Summer is coming -- along with their temperatures reaching into the mid-high 30s -- which I can't stand in the least, as I don't have the luxury of living in an adequately air-conditioned house.

God, how I wish I lived in an area that never gets too hot or too cold.

We got our last snowfall Saturday night. It's finally getting warm here as well. Today it went up to 22 degrees or so. We only get a few days of 35+ degrees in the summer, the temperature usually being around 20-30 degrees.

We get lousy winters though...it's below 0 degrees from November (or late October, usually) to March (or often early April). 20 degrees below is the norm, with the temperature often dropping to 30 below, and sometimes 40 below.

It was really nice a couple of days ago but now the garden is flooded again and it was so chilly I thought it might snow, "Ne'er cast a clout till May be out", as the English say.

Or in the French, "En avril, ne te découvre pas d'un fil; en mai, fais ce qui te plaît " or the Spanish, "Hasta el cuarenta de mayo no te quites el sayo".
