So? What was playing when you were born? If you could go back in time to the date that you were born, what would you hear on the radio when you turned it on? What movie would you go see in the theater? What was playing?

I was born in August, 1983 so....

The number one songs in America were "Every breath you take," "Sweet Dreams (are made of this)," and "Flashdance."

The number one movies at the box office? You guessed it, "Return of the Jedi." Oh and "National Lampoon's Summer Vacation" was doing pretty good.

I was born in 1989. So the top songs when I was born were Every Thorn has its Rose by Poison, My Prerogative by Bobby Brown, and Two Hearts by Phil Collins.

And the big films were Batman, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Lethal Weapon 2.

Well, uh, if anyone have anyway to check what were the hits back in july 1982... I know some of the movies on the theaters back then, because I remember taking a look at a newspaper my parents kept from the day I was born.
