Hi,
i’ve read that some elements from the EU (Legends) was added into the movies.
Like the Outrider from Shadows of the Empire was added in the Special-Edition of ANH and Coruscant was added from the Thrawn trilogy into the Special-Edition of ROTJ.
So is there a list, or someone can give me more details?

The double-bladed lightsaber was introduced in the Tales of the Jedi comic as the weapon of the Dark Lord Exar Kun.
Aayla Secura (blue Twi’lek Jedi in AOTC & ROTS) was originally an EU character.

Technically, Coruscant was added from the then upcoming Prequels into the OT. It’s only the name Coruscant that comes from the Thrawn Trilogy.

On the one hand, it was never depicted before the Thrawn Trilogy. On the other hand, the idea of a city-planet, I think, goes back to the early drafts (and Trantor in Asimov’s books).

I was happy to see the Maw in Solo.

Emperor: It’s not the east or the west side.
Darth Vader: No It’s not.
Emperor: It’s not the north or the south side.
Darth Vader: Not It’s not.
Emperor: It’s the dark side!
Darth Vader: You are correct!!

The idea of Grutchins from the New Jedi Order series were later used, and slightly adapted, to be “buzzdroids” in ROTS.

“Force Grip” from the Jedi Knight video games is briefly seen in ROTS when Dooku and Obi-Wan fight:

or here at 1 minute 12 seconds into this “my powers have doubled since the last time we met” video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLlf5bC1wxg

I’ve seen that many times but never made the connection, and I used the play the game a lot! I was probably still busy laughing at the “my powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count” line, Dooku’s back kick, and Obi somehow not being hurt in any way by the Dooku pulling the stairway onto his hip or stomach.

The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear.
