It's frinkin' sweet.

(Okay, I bought it myself, but my kids were with me at the time.  But it was seriously $40!  How insane is that?  I think you'll agree that I had to have it.)

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

$40? Nice!

My kids took mom over to grandma's house for Saturday night/Sunday morning, so I could watch some esplosion movies really loud.

Okay, so usually I think those kind of sets that come in some impractical and silly case like that are ridiculous (like the dumb Cornelius bust POTA DVD set), but wow, that one is pretty cool! Especially with the eyes lighting up.

It has a drawer where you can put the BDs & DVDs... but it seems a little impractical to get them in and out of there...  Thank goodness it came with a regular case as well.

This is the 4th time I've bought T2 on disc.  I still have purchase #2 and #3.  But since this set contains the 4 DVDs that made up #2 and #3... I guess I can sell them to my heart's content.

$40! That's freaking sweet!

My dad got to play badminton with Jared from the Subway commercials, but I had nothing to do with it, nor was I there.

I don't have any Padawans yet, so I can't get any 'Master's Day' presents.

That is really amusing. If you were responsible for it it would be even more humorous.

005: Happy Father's Day! This year I got you in a celebrity badminton match!

005 Sr.: Really?? Who with?

005: Jared!

005 Sr.: Who?

005: You know! Jared!

005 Sr.: *cocks eyebrow*

005: You know, the Subway commercial guy. Jared!

005 Sr.: *cocks eyebrow*

005: Sooo...

005 Sr.: Do I have to play with him?

005: Yes.

005 Sr.: Dah!

Actually, my late stepmom was related to Jared through marriage. He's at all of the family reunions that I never seem to be at.

Lol, this just keeps getting more amusing.

If I ever met him I'd probably ask him what he felt about the "Jared Has Aids" episode of South Park... then I'd awkwardly ask him to sign my left buttocks.

My wife's high school boyfriend was ALSO related to Jared from the other side.

Where did you find it for $40?  That thing was retailing for at least 3x that.

My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

Blockbuster.  They had some stuff that was 90% off 90% off.  I guess that means it was 99% off.  I bought some $10 items for $0.10.

$0.10 you say...?

Let me know when they have a real sale and then I'll haggle.

This thread got me in the mood of watching T2 on blu-ray.

So I am now viewing it on my BRAND NEW LED HDTV!

You know what I got when I was your age? Hmm?

A stick! Yes that's right! A stick!

*sigh*

You young people have everything these days. Why, back in my day the only thing we had to eat was Gravel! And we liked it! What is the world coming to these days?

Humph!

Gravel? You were locky to have gravel ! I used to have to go to the lake, get some sand and put it in the sun to dry for 20 hours, eat that if the wind hadn't already taken it away, then go back to my hole in the ground where me dad would kill me in cold blood singing "Old McDonald Had A Farm".
