What is Irving Kershner up to now?

I'm not sure if this should be in General or OT (move it if need be)... but the latest movie imdb.com says Irving directed was SeaQuest DSV (1993). Is he retired? Is he not working on any other projects? Although ROTS has the potential for being a great Star Wars film, I wish he directed it.

Except SeaQuest DSV was a TV show not a movie. Actually, correct that statement. Looks like he may have directed the TV pilot movie. Starred Roy Scheider and Jonathan Brandis (RIP). I think it only lasted two seasons.

As for Kershner, I have no idea if he's retired or not. Probably hard to recover from the knowledge that he is responsible for Robocop 2. I would guess that, being 81 years old might have something to do with the fact that he hasn't done much lately.

Haha, I was going to say something about him probably being embarrassed by Robocop 2, but then decided against it.

Actually I quite enjoyed Seaquest. The first season was everything Star Trek should have been. The second season was okay, but changed a bit, and the third season is just best forgotten, when Scheider was replaced by Michael Ironside (and I'm a fan too).
The original Star Wars trilogy: Our cultural history deserves to be preserved and should be available to the public like all great works of art!

DSV was bad...
