Why doesn't it make sense to you? The statement simply means what it says: that I won't see a movie that acknowledges SWTOR.
No, that's not what the statement says. The film can ignore or acknowledges concepts from SWTOR whether LF labels it canon or non-canon. So the two points in your statement are basically unrelated. It was also stated that EP7 will not limit itself to EU, despite the fact that most of EU is now labelled "canon".
SWTOR is labelled canon now. In the end you will have to see the film in order to know if it acknowledges SWTOR.

The reason I didn't answer is because I'm not the one who you were asking, but in case you're wondering, yes, I have played SWTOR.
I said "you two" and, since you and the other guy were the only ones who mentioned SWTOR, I assumed it was clear enough. I apologise for misunderstanding.
May I also inquire how much of it? i.e. which classes, what chapters?

I pretty much think cannon should be the books as the encompass the intended original saga, minus Metachlorians. Since I haven't read the books, I have no idea what I am talking about.

Cut it all.
Don't let fresh stories be hampered by decades if mediocrity. The Thrawn novels will still exist, even if Leeland Chee says Disney doesn't count them canon.

The gist of this is limited, to those who know what you mean. Surely i know Johnny Depp, but never cared for slice and dice films.
Who cares what film it's from? He's waving his arms around with a goofy expression on his face, and that's all that matters.
Personally, I wouldn't mind them cutting everything, or at least cutting it down a huge amount.
We all generally pick and choose our canon anyway, so it's not like we'd be losing anything, and it would give authors a whole new world to play around in.
Obviously, that won't happen, but I wouldn't mind if it did. I'm guessing that we're not going to see too much of a change, honestly. I'm sure we'll lose stuff that conflicts directly with anything that happens in the new films/current high-level canon, but that's going to be it.

^That image only inspires genocidal feelings, I'm afraid, so it could never work in the same context.

I don't really give a hoot as to what they do and don't keep. For me, I will read the EU novels just for themselves, not as part of a larger canon. It's just a fun way to explore the Star Wars universe and I don't really care if it is consistent or not.
Its EU for a reason. Its separate from the films and solely came out out a desire to make money off the license. Aka Merchandising.
There is no need at all for Disney to nuke the EU, it was a way for others to play in George's world when his stamp was on the six movies. Now that others are making new movies that is all undermined anyways the sequels are legitimized EU.
They are not Lucas Canon being the vision of a single individual. They are the vision of the corporation known as Disney.
Yeah Lucas himself legitimized them as canon but what do you expect for 4 billion dollars.
Of course Disney wants to create their own merchandising line and continuity and who could blame them except for the fans who want the existing line to continue.
It will be the new cartoon, followed by the new comics and then new movies. None of the old stuff will probably survive though they might lift things in the same way Lucas did from the EU for the prequels and clone wars.
“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
I think "canon" should be abolished. Star Wars didn't need a canon in 1977 and it doesn't need a canon in 2015.

I should know better than to respond to a staple skyjedi2005 comment such as this... but it always makes me shake my head.
The films are just as commercial (soley made to make money) an enterprise as the books, games, comics, etc. of the EU.
It's all art + business. Made with passion and to make money.
