What if Lucas directed _____ ?

Hey guys,
Although I have great respect for Lucas, this thread is to ponder the pending question of what would happen if Lucas directed any other popular, non-Star Wars film? And what humorous, unnecessary, Lucas-like changes (i.e. too much CGI, arbitrary action sequences, terrible dialogue) would there be to the films.

For example:
Let's take Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. I'd say if Lucas was directing the film, Jim Caviezel's Jesus would be replaced with a CGI Jesus, who whips the Romans first, instead of not fighting back (much like Han Solo shooting first). Judas would be replaced with Ahmed Best (Jar Jar) for much-needed "comic relief", with lines like: "Muy-Muy... Meesa betray yousa for 30 pieces of silver..."

Finally, there would be an unnecessary musical change in the middle of the movie, with nothing to do with the film or the plot at all. Lucas would just think it's cool to have a random song in a passion film, with Pharisees and Romans doing the chicken dance together, while stepping in camel poop...

I ask a different question, what if another director directed Star Wars? Like... Stanely Kubrick?

how many sequels to kubrick movies do you know of...well there is 2001. I doubt seriously that it would've spawned into a pop phenomenon that way. It would be interesting to see. It would been disturbing like all his films...shining, eyes wide shut, 2001, clockwork orange, full metal jacket. It would've been R and we might've missed it as kids.

Imagine if Spielberg would have done the prequels. Considering he usually balances out FX and storyline pretty well, I think it would have been interesting. He probably would have told Lucas to shove Jar Jar up his @$$ also. Then again, he could have bombed them even worse.

While Kubrick was alive I always wanted him to direct a Muppets movie. Imagine how mind blowing that would be.

Imagine a Lucas-made Special Edition of "Pearl Harbor" or "Tora, Tora, Tora"... US "shoots" first... by attacking Japanese port!
I saw the original theatrical release of the Old Trilogy on the big screen and I'm proud of it...
How did I accomplish that (considering my age) is my secret...
