Now what is that supposed to mean, Mr. Wookie?
"I don't mind if you don't like my manners. I don't like them myself. They're pretty bad. I grieve over them during the long winter evenings."

There was one parked by my house that looked exactly like the one from BTTF. It had the vents, the flux capacitor, but not Mr. Fusion.

I almost wet my pants everytime I see a Lamborghini, to be honest. But the dream car for me would be the inside of my car transplanted inside a Lamborghini. I'm just so used to the feel of my car, no matter how dodgy and old it is...
MTFBWY. Always.

If I get a DeLorean, I also want to get the radio reconfigured to look like Time Circuits and a Flux Capacitory to hang in the back.

Do whatever you want to the DeLorean, just please, for the love of God, don't paint it! Polish it to a mirror finish and clearcoat it if you like, but if you paint it somebody somewhere will beat you with a stick.

Nobody will complain if you actually make it fast enough to hit 88 mph in a mall parking lot, though.

A DeLorean drove past me in the little village where I work a few months back. I gotta admit, it was pretty cool.
I too love BTTF. It's up there as one of my fave films ever!

We won't complain if you mess of the fabric of time either.

Remanufactured Deloreans

Those are way too expensive, I checked into them a few years back.

You could get one in perfect condition for less than 19,000, most run from 10-14,000.

I drive a '94 Ford Ranger. 5-speed manual. I never learned how to drive a stick so I'm doing so now.

Gee, it's kinda tricky at first.

Well, I traded Zootie (my yellow 510) to my brother for some cash and bought a restored 1972 Datsun 1200 Coupe CHEAP!!

These are the pictures that sold me on getting the car (weighs in at 1609 lbs with 62 HP 1.2 liter pushroad, 5-speed and 3.97 rearend)

And I'm also making payments on a 1971 Datsun 1200 Sedan SCCA GT5 Race Car!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting it REAL, REAL, REAL SUPER cheap, I may not race it but convert it back to a street car - maybe remove the fender flares and make it a stock looking sleeper (weighs in at 1587 lbs with 130+ HP 1.2 liter pushroad, 5-speed and 4.11 rearend)

THIS IS NOT THE CAR - But only an example! (I'll post pictures soon)

BTW, I'm not driving the granny-mobile anymore:

It doesn't have that much power, but its a decent car until I can get something better.

Dammit, Rikter, you're making me jealous again. If I have to go out west when I get another Z, I'm gonna make it a point to swing by your neck of the woods and take a few runs on Sandia Peak.

With any luck at all, by the end of the summer I'll get my helical diff installed, rear suspension rebuilt, and maybe a one-piece driveshaft to boot. Fewer parts + 25-40% weight reduction = woo-hoo! Once the suspension's done and aligned, I've got a very slightly used set of Hankook RSS Z211 stickies to play with. It's awesome having a local source for cheap race tires...
