What didn't you like about TFA? SPOILERS — Page 28

I always assumed some unimportant piece fell off one of them. But ANH fails on every level once you realize it’s never explained. Although then I read the script, and I discovered what Lucas was going for, so then it made everything ok again.

Don’t you mean the novelization of the original script?

Actually, in the novel, Lucas is a character, and it’s revealed that the Stormtroopers made him add that scene to make it look like they were doing their job and not just standing around like usual. Which makes ANH the worst movie ever yet again.

In the radio version the stormtrooper says “It’s a plating ring from a droid, sir” or at least I remember him saying that I haven’t heard it since 1981.

Why did the stormtroopers kill the jawas and then make it look like the sand people did it?

Huh? Luke assumed sandpeople did it. Then Obi-Wan said that sandpeople walk in single file to cover their numbers, and that the track in the sand are shown side by side, aka Stormtroopers.* The Stormtroopers didn’t even try to make it seem as if sandpeople did it. Luke only assumed that since it’s implied Jawa’s and sandpeople don’t get along.

*I probably am not relaying the words accurately, but regardless, Obi-Wan pointed out how sandpeople walk differently compared to Stormtroopers.

Luke Skywalker: It looks like the Sandpeople did this, alright. Look, there’s gaffi sticks, Bantha tracks. It’s just, I never heard of them hit anything this big before.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: They didn’t, but we are meant to think they did. These tracks are side-by-side. Sandpeople always ride single file to hide their numbers.

To be fair, that’s what’s in the movie. If you read the script, the novel, and the cereal box, they all have different versions, so I’m sure you’re right in one of those.

The script says it exactly like TavorX explained it.

The novel says that Luke punches Obi-Wan for being insensitive.

The cereal box says Obi-Wan was a Sandperson.

Why would the military of an evil tyrannical empire frame a bunch of nomadic desert dwelling natives for the massacre of a farmer, his wife and a local salvage business?

Dunno?

Some conspiracy nut would probably start yapping some crazy talk about top secret weapon plans or something.

Movie, script, or novel version?

I have begun to wonder if you’re even capable of framing an argument that does not contain a logic fallacy.

I have never wondered if you have any sense of humor.

I do, but only when someone says something that’s actually funny.

We have heard this many times here, and always from people who have zero sense of humor, or at least fail to demonstrate any here.

I didn’t like how the MF went to lightspeed inside the freighter. Now there’s something inconsistent with the internal logic of the SW universe, and it could have easily been avoided as well.

Or perhaps you just fail to comprehend it.

I thought so too, what was the reasoning for them not just taking off first?
