I’d be pretty surprised if Disney signed any sort of agreement restricting what they can do when they were ponying up 4 billion dollars.

I do think that we should not expect any sort of OT/PT re-releases until after May 2020 when all of the distribution rights (except for ANH) revert back to Disney

To paraphrase : Disney only cares and money. Therefore, they won’t sell a product that costs practically nothing to produce and that will sell like hot cakes at $100 a pop.

When you operate in billions, several millions is unnoteworthy profit. All it would do is basically steal lots of publicity and attention from the things that make them billions now.

Then why the hell does any major studio release catalog titles on home video?

You don’t like the Disney films alderaan? I’m actually shocked to hear this. Have you mentioned this a million times before because this is the first I’ve heard
