Whether an animated or live action series - from 2003 Clone Wars to Visions, or from The Mandalorian to Andor - or any other tv/streaming offerings set in the Galaxy Far Far Away.

You don’t have to pick just the one scene or sequence - if you have more that stood out to you… then post them up! 👍

Andor, S01xE12: ‘Rix Road’

Or Andor. All of it.

Okay, I’ll narrow it down and pick a scene (of many)… Maarva’s speech sequence - the acting, pacing, tension, delivery, editing, the sheer weight of it (after so many story strands culminating here for the season finale)… For me, it is one of the most epic scenes in all of Star Wars.

The whole Maarva speech sequence: a 4 minute video at the official Star Wars youtube channel.

I’ve got 2 off the top of my head

The Acolyte
Episode 5 Night. This is an absolutely fantastic episode, in a mostly disappointing series. The action is fantastically directed, and the episode is incredibly well-paced and tense. Jecki’s death and the Qimir reveal, up to Yorde’s death is the standout in a fantastic episode.

Star Wars Rebel.
Season 4 Episode 10 Jedi Night. Kanan’s sacrifice and death was one of the highlights of a great series. Kanan was a great character and seeing his arc come to a conclusion and sacrifice himself was very poignant…

Visions: Season 2, Episode 1: Sith

Everything about the episode - from start to finish - all 14 minutes… captivating, mesmerising and fully engaging. I’m so glad I watch just 1 episode per day of Season 2 of Visions - giving some time to take in each episode - rather than binge them and then have certain episodes ‘get lost’ in the fog.

I was keenly anticipating this - Visions S1xE1 had a fantastic start with ‘The Duel’ - so I knew the first episode of Season 2 would likely be right up there… and this did not disappoint. The cinematography, direction, pacing, the story… all hitting the very highest notes for me. I think I’ve watched episode this 10-15 times now - and am completely absorbed by it each and every time.

Star Wars Visions - SITH - Behind the Scenes - a 4 minute youtube video from the official El Guiri Studios channel.

Season 3 of Visions starts on Wednesday 29th October, 2025. Hopefully the opener will be up there with this and The Duel. 👍

For me its Visions Ronin. The entire episode from start to finish. Its feels like if Kurosawa made Star Wars.

The idea a Sith can be a good guy or at least morally grey is very outside the box from the idea of George Lucas good guys and bad guys, and good guys use blue and green, bad guys use red.

The idea of good Sith and Evil Jedi is only hinted in EU in things like the OLD Republic MMO.

The only other example I can think of is the Kotor comic where the masters commit murder and frame a padawan. Zayne Carrick.

Ronin is cool but I don’t think he’s supposed to be a good guy, and the idea of Good Sith is lame. It’s very much in the box for people who believe in gray jedi, balance in the force means equal light side and dark side, etc. which is a large part of the fans.

The Acolyte is another prominent example recently.
