Na..... Bradley Cooper looks too much like Bono to me
Maybe someone like Stephen Dorff.....looks a bit rougher

On the subject of Bradley Cooper as Han again, I realised...
...when TV producers wanted a Harrison Ford alike actor for BSG they cast Dirk Benedict...
...who also played Face in the A-Team TV show. Who did Movie producers go to for a Dirk Benedict alike for the A-Team movie...
...Bradley Cooper.
He's like the illegitimate nephew of Han Solo!
^ Quite pleased with how this little mockup turned out.
VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

Bradley Cooper is about as interesting as a piece of bark on a tree.
I'm personally hoping for lesser known actors, outside of the main trio returning.

Agree. Cooper is about as interesting as a fart.
just came across this, would be interesting if true?
If Abrams was like Whedon who likes to recast people who worked for him before, I'd like to see Victor Garber again.
EDIT: Victor Garber in Star Trek (2009). Sadly, all of his scenes were cut:
I would like to see Peter Serafinovich as the ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi, only because he has done a great impersonation of Alec Guiness. It would be OK for me if he does the voice only. :)
BTW, Peter Serafinovich did also do the voice of Darth Maul in TPM...

I like to see Lena Headey in almost anything, so why not in Star Wars!
Saw Chris Messina in Devil (2010) and he was the only thing good about that movie. He looks like a cross between a youngish Harrison and Carrie (not so much in this picture).
He is also one of those actors you can throw facefuzz onto and create a real feel for the passage of time (ideal for Jedi Knights.. or vagrants).
^ Clint Eastwood's son Scott looks badass in this photo, just like his dad in his youth (Before he started talking to furniture). Could be a casting option.

My goodness that looks just like Blondie!
Maybe even nicer (from that angle).
Alan Cumming would make a good Tarkinesque villain.
He even looks a bit like Peter Cushing.
This fiendishly clever 'Doctor Who/Star Wars' mashup got posted over on FE.org recently and it struck me how Karen Gillan almost looks like a young Carrie Fisher at around the 02.12 mark in the clip (The hair, the Endor background and of course the Lightsaber all help).
Karen as Leia's daughter would be a great casting choice IMO.
^ Even found a photo of her with the ROTJ hair.

Her non-Scottish accents are a bit odd but Ewan's were too.
Original actors only in the lead spots, please. No generic 2000's actors, thank you. We don't need generation facebook dweebs like that Hayden Christiansen buttwipe ruining any other Star Wars films. OK? BTW, Leia is WAY sexier than that generic Padme'...Leia has more attitude and would be better in bed. But if you like cold fish..well, Padme' for you.

Not to mention Hayden was cast almost four years before Facebook even existed. ;)
Where were you in '77?
Christopher Walken, if nobody has suggested him yet...
He's a great dancer, which would be a plus with the lightsaber fights.

I like 'em cold. Reminds me of my first time, when I was working as a mortician's assistant.
O.O

Never let facts get in the way of some prequel bashing Wook.
