man... thanks for the props guys! It’s been an honor to help with the releases of so many great transfers, and to have worked with so many wonderful people

I normally jump joint projects to the top of the torrent releases WHEN it's 100% ready to go so I hope I can find some good images to make a cover for it and as well as menus. It's an extra cool thing as when I start a project like this I get to add both DVD’s to my collection as I go and buy the retail discs used, and this week my local Hastings has all the used DVD's at 30% off the normal so if they have a used copy it will only be $7.40 with tax and that fit's my budget perfectly!

I really dig Kevin Costner films as they always end up overly epic

So if you guys have stuff to add (Images, wallpapers or something that would supplement the set) please drop me an email

Count me in. I´m sick to get a hold of Waterworld EE Encore version on DVD-r. It was my understanding a taped version was on the way to you Rikter. Did it get lost in the mail? What´s the situation as of now?

I received my copy a couple of weeks ago, ended up being Mitch's discs, so not an alternate version like I first presumed!

I was going to edit the discs for myself and some people I know, so if anyone here wants a copy of Mitch's transfer and my DVD menu and cover then I guess I'll torrent it.

Here's some details on the transfer that I haven't seen posted yet. This is the Encore screening (uncensored and no ads) with the ABC ending (Everest, not present in other versions) edited in, so it is actually the 'Extra-Extended Edition'.

NTSC and Fullscreen since that was the only way the extended cuts have been shown.

Ooh, a laserdisc. The Cheat's playin' something on a laserdisc.

I still haven't had time to put together a decent DVD of this. I should have enough time next week to finally sort out the DVD menu and finish my cover (as I'll finally have finished two sites I've been working on and only have a wedding video and audio CD artwork to do).

As well as replacing the confusing DVD recorder menu system I'll be cutting the duplicate footage and nothingness. I'll also be making a dual-layer single-disc version to go along the standard two-disc single-layer set.

segaflip, could you wait two weeks for this? I've made a little progress on the new discs and cover art, but a few things have come up that meant I couldn't finish it this week.

Thought I may as well post something up so it doesn't look like I'm all words! Here is an rough early version of the cover art. Still a lot of Photoshoppery needed before I bring it into InDesign to add text and screenshots, but it'll give a rough idea of where I'm going.
