I will. No logos would be ideal, but I'm skeptical that it would work. I just tried it with my DV cap and the scene Llorang posted from his VHS, and his version is zoomed in a way that would require me to zoom in on my DV image to composite them together.
I couldn't be positive, before... But the Bravo logo is transparent for "Bravo" and semi-transparent for the white part!!!
There are de-logo filters that can deal with those (not sure how well, but they don't use blurring, and they should, at least, de-emphasise the hell out of it.
You might also be able to follow up with the "if darker" overlay setting with the SciFi or Encore caps - if you can get them color-corrected enough. I think you can set it to let just a little bit through, perhaps with opacity. Hopefully Vegas will have a "scale" setting, so you can resize Lorang's in Vegas on the fly, without resizing his video.
There aren't any logos in the Encore cap, so you're cool there.

Here's a sequence of screenshots that leads me to believe it's an IVTC problem:

The two frames on either side of this cut still show field blending.
...and the same goes for anything with high motion, like the guard's head:
[Snip]
(although it's harder to see)
Sounds like you got that from tests of the IVTC filter by itself?
If it's IVTC, then that middle pair suggests that there might be from a setting that does average/interpolate, or field-blending.
Especially if it's in a regular pattern. I think the pattern would be:
frame/frame/wierd-frame/wierd-frame/frame/frame/weird-frame/wierd-frame.
Should be a way to shut that setting off, or just shut it off for chroma.
You said you used:
DoubleWeave()
Pulldown(1,4)
But you didn't say which IVTC filter.
The one in ADM's guide worked nicely for me, but your milage may vary:
------------------------------
Uncomment the line: LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\GORDIA~1\AviSynthPlugins\decomb.dll")
and uncomment the line Telecide(order=1,guide=1).Decimate()
by removing the # character at the start of each of those lines.
