I was looking for a video file in a certain format but noone seems to know about that so I guess I have to do it myself. So whats a good video converter? The Star Wars SE is in x265 and 10 bit and I need it in x264 and something besides 10 bit as the dvd player I’m gonna play it in won’t play it like that. Also something that can convert m4v’s will be good too.
Also note I want a free one.
Yesterday I downloaded a convertor I used years ago called Super. And it came with tons of prompts for adding spyware and adware. I clicked no on all of them but then it needed to install codecs and I decided to click x on the program instead of respond to it again. That must have given it permission to install everything and I had tons of viruses and adwares and spywares that disabled my antivirus, opened programs randomly, and wouldn’t let me use a restore point. A steep price to pay for making 1 mistake. After I deleted the programs I was finally able to use a restore point that got rid of all of them. Anyway, I don’t want that to happen again. This program was safe years ago. I don’t know why they went the spyware route.
