since we're talking GC I'll tell you what I've got:
Zelda: Windwaker
Metroid Prime
Paper Mario
Prince of Persia

I wanted to get the new Metroid Prime game but I'm looking for work at the moment. Might get hired pretty shortly here.

Also, Double dash sounds good. Something to play at parties and such. I want to get Power Tennis too.

For PS and PS2 I have:
MSG1-3
SOCOM 1
Marvel v Capcom
Splinter Cell

I'm currently trying to get through MSG3 with no alerts, no kills

I also purchase a used Super Nintendo and NES.

For Super I have:
The Super Mario Collection
Super Star Wars
Super Return of the Jedi
Zelda: LttP
Super Mario World

Also have an N64 with alot of games

My buddy keeps heckling me to get Half Life 2, But I don't know... Kinda want to spend more of my time writing and drawing stuff than on video games. That's the thing about video games these days, they are wayyyy tooo long and require too much of a time commitment.

I hear ya, Switch. I'm the same way. I try not to play too many games that are too long and involved. I have a friend who is addicted to SIMS games and he neglects his family as a result. I've been told he's gotten better. And I know I could control myself, but the prospect still scares me. Hence why I play so many of the mindless games like Crazy Taxi and some sports games where I can play individual games and not run an entire season.

I've actually been playing the dynasty mode in march madness 2005 and I played it for 5 hours straight! where did the time go?! I also was playing MSG3 one night after Christmas and I literally lost track of time. I played from 10 at night and played til 5a.m the next morning. My dad had to come down to the basment after he woke up and tell me what time it was! Games these days... *shakes head*

You keep saying MSG3. Do you actually mean MGS3 (Metal Gear Solid 3) or is there another game I'm not familiar with?

!!!

Bossk. The "elf" character is Link from the Zelda series, and Soul Calibur is a straight up fighting game, nothing like Kingdom Hearts.

Link is actually in Soul Calibur II? That's pretty cool. I was just thinking it was a generic elf sort of character.

Fighting games are good.

Each console got it's own character:

PS2 got Heihachi from Tekken

XBOX got Spawn

and the GC got Link!

Anyway. Hey Bossk, while you're at it, you should also pick up the Metroid Prime games and Super Smash Brothers Melee, as they're all among the best the GC has to offer. If you're looking for a good M rated game, you can't go wrong with Eternal Darkness. But if you plan on getting RE4 and the RE remake, then get the remake first, because otherwise it will feel horribly dated after RE4.

You mean like using codes and whatnot on a game? If so, then I can officially say that, no, I don't cheat. Never have. I use codes as place holders in games and that's about it. But I legitimately made it to each spot where I was given a new code. I've never bothered going on the Web to find cheat codes. I've always had better things to do. And, no, I never owned, borrowed, or rented a Game Genie either.

The GCN controller isn't very good for fighting games though.

Come to think of it, neither is the XBOX.

Why? What's so different about it? Or is it just that you're so used to the PS2 controller that it's hard to use something else?

The GC controller isn't that bad for fighting games, really. That's a myth perpetuated by 'elite' fighting gamers who hate anything but an arcade stick.

Not to mention that the GC controller is pretty much perfect for Soul Caliber.

Its actually because of the ridiculously small and hard D-Pad on the GCN controller, which is arguably the more precise and accurate method of playing console fighting games(or at least my preferred).

Edit: But I do agree with chaltab, the GCN controller is perfect for Soul Calibur 2.

The GC Dpad definitely sucks, but the analog stick isnt that bad. I still could pull off a Hadooken whenever I wanted.

I can't imagine playing Soul Calibur II any other way; I'd probably suck in the arcade.

Found Rebel Strike (finally!) online for $29.99; mighty tempting.

Rebel Strike is like $15 used at GameStop.

Thirty dollars is way too much for a game that old--unless it's a true classic like KoToR or Ocarina of Time.

Remember that that's $30 Cdn, which is like $22 US; not too far from that $15US used price.

I just found it for 17.49 at Music Recyclery (local chain used store in Illinois). Might order it and some other games.

I also just found it BRAND NEW from Target.com for US$19.99. That doesn't seem all that bad. I'm gonna run by a bricks and mortar Target after work to see if this is just an online deal or not.

If you have a Wal-Mart nearby I'm sure they have it in the bargain bin as well, every major chain has it for $20 now.
