I actually just looked him up and found a video of him discussing the AVGN. I personally have always hated AVGN, I’ve never found him even remotely funny, and the same can be said about Irate Gamer. I don’t have a dog in the fight, and after seeing his point of view I think both sides were at fault, and if what he’s saying is true then AVGN must be a total asshole. Again, who knows what’s true or not.

Mad Max (Avalanche Studios, 2015)
What a fantastic game! Avalanche Studios should be applauded for this, their Magnum Opus. Terrific mix of vehicle and onfoot gameplay. The melee combat leaves a little to be desired but the rest more than makes up for it. The main mission storyline is great. They perfectly captured the brutal and visceral world that Max inhabits. I really hope they’ll make a follow up one day. Definitely recommended.

My wife and I bought back into the “3DS Family”. Now we’ve had all of the 3DSes except for the New 3DS (not XL). We decided to get into Pokemon this go round.
I do have to say that even though Nintendo is odd in only allowing you to transfer your Nintendo ID login from one system to another if you have them both in hand, calling them and asking them to release the ID from the old system (that you presumably sold) is quick and straightforward. I don’t have the Ambassador games I got for free for being an early adopter (I guess they weren’t tied directly to my account), but I do have the game I paid for back (“Link’s Awakening DX”).

Hitman™ - Enter a World of Assassination
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
The game is good, amazing stealth action. But it has DRM and if you are offline, you can’t do almost anything, and as of now, there are only 2 maps.
Once all episodes are out, buy it on a sale, because the game is real good, but it’s not worth it right now.
And if you can’t wait until all episodes are out and it gets a sale or something, then torrent it or something. Whatever, just don’t pay for it.

Yeah, it’s fun to run around killing zombies in weird ways but the story was awful. I don’t care enough to go back and try the expansion.

I rarely ever play video games, most of the time I get bored after the first couple of levels, but recently I’ve really been getting into CS: GO, and GoldenEye. Both really good, with varied levels and good graphics based on the year of release.

I got my desktop going again after leaving it in the too-hard basket for roughly a year. Got a barely-used HD7870 from a friend, finally replacing my 8800GT, so now it’s everything else that bottlenecks my system! My processor does not meet the “requirements” for Far Cry 4, but I’m having a lot of fun with it - especially the bow and arrow.

I also played The Division but found it was lacking alittle in content. I’ll probably pick up the seasons pass once it releases. I’m mainly just waiting for Dark Souls 3. When the comes out, I’m pretty much set.
I am not lost. I know exactly where I am, I am in some shitty fucking hell, which is exactly what I deserve. But you… YOU are lost. All my life I thought that I needed you, that I couldn’t survive without you, fuck! Fuck! It was the other fucking way around. It was the other way around.

I recently bought a Nintendo 64 with Super Mario 64, Starfox 64, and Shadows of the Empire. I generally prefer n64 games on emulators cuz I can play in HD and with high res texture packs*(wouldn’t ever dream of playing the two n64 Zelda titles any other way they look so damn good in HD with their texture packs) but Super Mario 64 is so nostalgic on the real thing, and SOTE won’t work on emulators. And I couldn’t just not buy starfox 64 when it’s sitting right there.
*I don’t own the cartridges for the n64 Zelda titles but I acquired the Tom’s completely legally and I own the games. They were both ported to GameCube on a collection and on the disc is actually just the standard Rom files that just function on a coded emulator on the GameCube disc. If you extract them from the disc they function perfectly on a pc emulator. I also acquired a NTSC Rom Of “Master Quest” this way. (The filename is urazle.n64 btw so we can stop insisting it’s not Ura Zelda because even Nintendo internally calls it that)

I always get bored of video games after the first few levels. Certain movies on the other hand, I can rewatch forever. Same goes for books. I guess I’ll leave now.

How long since you tried playing SOTE with an emulator? I couldn’t play it past the Hoth level years ago but I updated the emulator a while back and the whole game worked fine.

Oh. I played the whole game at the wrong speed then. It was still fun!
