99% of Assassin's Creed 2 takes place in Renessaince Italy, so the "strong language" part of the M rating comes up so infrequently as to wonder why it's there at all.

Of course, my wife sat down and we were going to do one of the mystery puzzles together and the narrator decides to drop the F-bomb, and in context too...  She was not impressed.

Theres a new arcade tombraider coming out  sometime anyone know when? its a bit different and hopefully it will be on xbox live - unlike Goldeneye:revisted....

Technically a Lara Croft game, and not a Tomb Raider game (whatever that means)- LC & the Guardian of Light comes to XLBA sometime in July.  Probably 2nd or 3rd Wednesday.

I'm actually a big Laura Croft fan... but I'm not sure this game is one for me.  I really liked the balance they had in TR: Underworld... I'll be disappointed if they never get back to it.

Ok then, find that washbot for me and ask him when I can expect my fettuccine alfredo...

Why would a washbot cook your fettuccine?  Wouldn't he... wash things?

My friend told me I could borrow his copy of Assassin's Creed II, but I have been having a hard time getting into single player games all year. I just realized that the only single player game I have beaten this year is Modern Warfare 2, and it was a unique occasion that possessed me to tackle the single player campaign.

Games have become sort of a social thing for me. I keep thinking that I should really sit down and beat Bioshock 2, but I really just can't find the drive to sit down and play a game by myself.

Playing Borderlands with a few buddies now. We are really enjoying it. Split screen is horrendously done though. Absolutely unforgivable not giving you the option to choose which direction it is split, rather they have you TV (HD or SD) determine which direction the screen will be split. Would an option have been so hard? We found ourselves turning down the HDTV's resolution and sacrificing picture quality in order to trick the game into thinking we are playing on an SDTV just so we can play it with horizontal split screen. Other than that, the game is pretty fun, not a whole lot of depth, but an enjoyable co-op FPS.

You gamers watch The Guild?  I just started watching and loving it, despite the fact that some of the gaming jokes go right over my head.

Some of them go over my head too. Just discovered this recently and watched the whole thing online with my roommate. We died laughing.

I sold a few games, so I'll give another rundown of what Xbox games I have:

Halo (xbox1)
Halo 2 (xbox1)
Halo 3
Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
LEGO Star Wars: TCS
LEGO Harry Potter: Yrs 1-4
LEGO Rock Band
Red Dead Redemption
Rock Band 2
Portal (DLC)
Perfect Dark (DLC)
TMNT Arcade (DLC)

Sold 3 games to get LEGO HP: Fable 2 (both my wife and I beat the crap out of it), R6: Vegas 2 (friend who had it sold his), and Ghostbusters (beat it).

Got LEGO Rock Band today. Can't beat paying $20 (+$10 to export) for 45 more songs, plus the option of rocking with LEGO Minifigs.

And I recommend Red Dead Redemption very highly. I don't get to play it much because my wife is usually playing it, and she's so far ahead of me in the story that I don't really have the motivation to play through all of the missions I know are coming.

We have friends that think Lego RB is the best RB yet.  We picked up the disc like you did: $20+10 to add 45 (at least 20 I would have paid $2/per for) to my RB2 setlist.  We haven't played too too much RB recently, but the little we've played hasn't been Lego.  I wanted to get some of the Nickelback songs that just came out (yes, I am that guy) but I'll probably wait until I know we're actually going to play some more RB.  It seems I spend more time buying songs for it these days than actually playing it.  :(

We dug the Lego Harry Potter demo, but I think I can wait for 6 months for it to be cheap.  My kids aren't too much into HP yet, so it's probably one I'll get actually for the wife and me to play.  We played Lego:SW 1&2 together to 100%, but neither she nor I have played Indy or Batman much aside from every so often with our son.

I tried Prototype for about an hour.  It's cured me of the desire to play more of it.  Lots of extremely gorey violence and loads of F-bombs.  And, to make matters worse!  It's not really fun.

I just picked up Darksiders for ~$8 using a combination of internet coupons and some "credit" I had at Gamestop.com.  It was $10 towards next purchase credit I got when I bought Warioland Shake it for $10, which was actually $0 since I used the $10 credit I got for the game I got just before that.

I'm really into Castlevania SotN right now.  It took an hour or so into the game before I really started digging it... but I'm totally into it now.

Next is Batman: AA.  I traded my old version for the new version with anaglyph 3D and made $4 in the process.  Then I'll hit Darksiders so I can have a Mark Hamill double feature.

And I spent a couple hours in BioShock 2 MP again.  I got up to level 11.  After level 10, the XP curve seems to go way up.  Where-as before I was gaining a level appx every other 15 minute session, it seems I have to play 4 or so now.  Not sure I'll make it all the way to 40, though I did want to max out the 'chievos on this game.  But I'm not sure I'll pick up the DLC for the other 150 pts.  Maybe if it ever goes on sale.

I didn't snag the ACII DLC either.  The reviews I read were rather poor.  If it goes on sale, I'm sure I'll snag it then.  And then I'll either need to pick up my own copy or borrow it from my bud again.

Chime, which is still on sale for 240, is pretty awesome.  I got my wife into that, recently.  According to one review, it "Out Tetrises Tetris" so I decided to check it out.  I'm more into "real" games than these goofy "little" games, but this one is really good.  Very addictive.

RE: Red Dead.  I'm not into Rockstar games, and I'm not that interested in Westerns.  I do like free-roaming games.  Is Red Dead still for me?

I was not really into westerns either, but it is completely free roaming and not as off-color as other Rockstar games. They still swear, but there's not (as much) sex or drugs.
