I took a picture to remember:

My wife's dead body in the foreground, I think I'm dead on the other side of the map, my friend is getting shot in the back while a teammate runs forward to plant the flag at the literal last second.  I think the video is on my fileshare, if that's still around.

 Nice!  Did you composite several photos together to get the panorama, or is there a way to take those superwide photos?

I took a series of photos and photo-merged them in Photoshop.  I tried to do something like this several times, this is the only one that worked.

Double-nice!  I'm always looking for HiRes double wide background images.  Maybe I'll go back through my fileshare and find some good moments to do the same.

I'd be up for either L4D or L4D2. I have never played the vs. stuff, only the campaigns, which is what I would prefer. So if there are only four of us, that would be a lot of fun. Otherwise I'd be up for some firefight on ODST, or some good ol' Halo 3. Even MW2, though I am a "total newb" (not quite as bad as a Total Biscuit, fortunately). I also have the new Perfect Dark rerelease now... which would be completely awesome to play with you guys, if anyone else has it. If not, only ten bucks to revisit the ol' 64 days with spiffy new HD textures and online multiplayer, definitely worth it. Closest thing we will ever get to Goldeneye on a modern console.

Anyway, this week is spring break for me, so I have the whole week off work. Most of my friends are out of town, and the girl I am wooing is insanely busy this week. So, I have plenty of free time over the next few days.

So we'd love to play L4D, H3, or PD.  Friend me up, we'll get together sometime.

So playing through Fallout 3, the best decision I made was to max out the Unarmed skill, take the Bloody Mess perk, and then acquire a Power Fist. I can now 1-hit kill Super Mutants by punching them in the fucking face.

I love this game.

I hate to tell OT.com that you are my reserve man-date... but I have a plan to play L4D1 with my zombie friend this weekend... and rumour through our wives is that it isn't going to happen.  So... do we want to set up an OT.com L4D session this weekend?  You know, on reserve?  Or you could all play without me assuming my wife is wrong (which she never is).

By-the-bye, the crash course DLC is Deal of the Week and is 320 pts until next Sunday night.

So.. it looks like my local zombie slaying mandate is officially: OFF.

Anybody up for some L4D this weekend?  I tentatively suggest 6:30M/7:30C/8:30E on Friday.

She makes fun of me for spending so much time here, I fear talking about it too much.  I did show her my trap thread and she's seen ANHR a couple times.

If she actually read some of the stuff we do here, especially in Off Topic, I think she'd think I was insane!

Hopefully actually talking to people from the boards over LIVE will help calm her.  Unless xhonzi and 3PX are as insane IRL as they are on the boards.  I know (hope) I'm not. ;-)

Wooohooo! Playing L4D with druken 3PX! Trust me, that happens and your wife will demand you delete your ot.com account as soon as the gaming session is over. I'll be sure to buy a mini keg before we start. ;)

I wish I could join you guys, but I'm a PC gamer. Could've had a 360 back in the day, but I bought a Wii instead. Yeah, what a wonderful decision that was. :\
