A friend of mine let me know that the guys who leaked news of The Bad Batch - Kessel Run Transmissions and Jordan Maison - have also leaked the following:

Ventress will get a limited animated series to wrap up her arc
animated sequel show for Star Wars Rebels set the same time as The Mandalorian
Barriss Offee will make a return, probably in TBB
Sabine Wren is in The Mandalorian

I haven’t looked into these myself but they sound exciting. Given other rumours, it sounds like poor Mando will have a very busy season 2 meeting lots of major characters!

Asajj Ventress’ arc is already wrapped up in Dark Disciple. A Rebels sequel has been rumored for a while. I really hope it’s true. Something is definitely going on considering the casting for the next season of The Mandalorian.

Ohhh, I’d heard of Dark Disciple but never looked into it before. Thanks for letting me know, I’ll have to check it out

I wouldn’t consider it totally unthinkable that, perhaps, Dark Disciple would be readapted into an 8 episode animated miniseries. After all, the book was apparently based on unproduced scripts from The Clone Wars after it was cancelled that didn’t get made only because of said cancellation. Not to mention that many Star Wars stories exist in more than one for of media, so it wouldn’t be entirely unprecedented and I see it being very possible, even quite likely, that Dave Filoni and Lucasfilm wouldn’t want the end of Asajj Ventress’ arc to be left to a novel that only exists in the first place because of the cancellation of Clone Wars.

I really wish Disney/Lucasfilm would reconsider their position on making of books.

I would buy them for all 3 of the sequels.

Or even if they allowed Legends to continue in a non canon separate timeline.

Matt Martin seemed to think managing two timelines was impossible.

I’m curious about what Zahn is doing with these new Thrawn stories though. Is he going to show up somewhere not in a cartoon, comic book or novel?

Maybe this isn’t the thread for this, but - Disney Investor’s Day

‘Rangers of the New Republic’ and a few other projects I like the sound of - glad to hear Hayden Christensen is returning in ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ - but I wish they had a few more imaginative titles than ‘Ahsoka’ and ‘Lando’…

Also if there’s a pre-ANH duel with Obi-Wan and Vader as some people are suggesting there might be, I’ll be pissed.

Yes, I know! The height difference is not as great in ROTJ from what I remember, and I don’t understand why he crosses his arms. Maybe he can pull it off though
