According to VideoETA.com, it's some 2005 movie starring Tom Selleck. I think I remember this advertised on TV. It was made-for-TV...

LOL... yes dammit I thought of the E.T. reference just after I posted it...

It blew me away when I realized that Sarah Chalk was the 'replacement' daughter on later seasons of 'Roseanne'. She growed up real good!

Yep. My wife and I plan to get the run of the series of DVD.

And now we get to start on Scrubs.

For those of you interested in Scrubs, it has been announced that Best Buy will have a bonus disc with their sets that includes more deleted scenes and an interview with Sarah Chalke. I know greencapt will be all over that one.

I'm definitely interested in Seinfeld, but I might wait and get them somewhere down the line. Next tuesday I want 12 Monkeys and Assault on Precinct 13 then Team America after that. Gonna do any reviews, DAYV?

I didn't realize it was a different color. That sucks. It wouldn't be so bad if 1/2 and 3 were each different colors, but now we've got an unbalanced color collection. That's not cool.

Kinda like Sex and the City. The first season came out in a completely transparent box. Even the spine was transparent with reddish lettering. Then season two came out with a blue spine and (I think) white lettering. It seemed fine because it looked like all of them would be different but just similar enough. Then seasons 3-6 came out with the season one spine color scheme. Now season two sticks out like a sore thumb. And to add salt to the wound, they released season 2 with the transparent spine later, but only if you bought all the seasons together in a multipack. Bastards. I wasn't going to buy them all again just to get that one.
