Hello guys!
I have a soft spot for this guilty pleasure movie. After 9 1/2 Weeks, producer Zalman King decided to direct an erotic movie himself. The script and dialogues are confusing, but shot very well and the score is fantastic from Jonathan Elias!
I found an UK ebay listing which mentioned that the movie has some vinegar syndrome. Since this is an extremely rare movie, I decided to buy it. The overall cost became very high because of Brexit (EU VAT) and shipping cost.
The movie really has a strong vinegar smell. The 6 reels are Kodak. I rewinded the reels very slowly, some parts are a bit sticky and a bit shrinked, but I didn’t find any big issue.
I really want to save these reels and scan it in a professional way. I want to get the best out of it.
I am located in Europe.
I really hope that you guys can help me on this project.
