A long time ago (early – mid 1980s), in some dudes living room, a religious crusader by the name of Phil Phillips decided it was time to educate the world about the evils of children’s entertainment of the time…

Turmoil in the Toybox is described as ‘a shocking exposé’ revealing how seemingly innocent children’s programming & toys such as He-Man, She-Ra, G.I. Joe, Thundercats, Rainbow Brite, The Care Bears, The Smurfs, Scooby-Doo, and yes, even Star Wars are turning the youth of the day towards Satanism

This is not a joke, parody, or farce…this guy truly believes in what he is saying

Needless to say, after laughing through this dudes ludicrous, paranoid rant, I knew that this long out-of-print VHS gem, had to be preserved.

So now, I am proud to offer for trade, Devilman-1369’s DVD preservation of Turmoil in the Toybox (v1.)

Specs: 4th gen VHS rip (I challenge anyone to find a better quality source for this… please) custom menu, and bonus feature: ages old web cartoon of Winnie the Pooh worshipping Satan (if anyone knows who actually made that cartoon, please notify me so I can give proper credit)

I want this!!!

A bit more then a few years ago, I saw Grant Goodeve (the oldest son "David" from "Eight Is Enough") on some paid religious advert telling us how evil rock and pop music was. I wish I still had a VHS of that (I did for a bit), but in all the moving around I have done it's long gone.

Was this "Hells Bells" I think it was called. I remember seeing something like this at church once, that talked about how all this rock music (mostly late 80s heavy metal rock, Ozzy and the other usuals) had satanic messages in it, mostly when played backwards.

Bar none?!! Yet another rockumentary that does not even mention Frank Zappa. How can you have any serious review of Rock 'n' Roll without a single reference to the big Z? I guess they dismissed the song "Catholic Girls" as harmless tongue-in-cheek (ahem) ribbing. How can I possibly develop an informed disgust for Rock if I'm not given all the sordid details?

I have the Geraldo "devil worship" episode where they blame heavy metal music for kids turning to satan! I also have a news clip of christians speaking out against the band Kiss for being Devil Worshipers. Very funny stuff! I love this kind of crap!
