So is this movie live action or something? I know nothing about transformers. Never watched the cartoon, never saw the animated movies, never played with the toys. All I know is that they are robots that turn into....robots.

I hear that Peter Cullen, who did Optimus Prime's voice in the 80s cartoon, is lobbying to reprise the role for the movie.

I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

I hope so, though I think this movie is going to suck big balls, it would be great to hear the original voice for Optimus. I'm definitely glad that they are baising it off of generation1 also.

Well, I loved Pearl Harbor. Yes, yes, it's a suck balls fest of a movie, but I still love it anyway. Maybe this movie will magically be fun as well.

What I can't wait for is the Wonder Woman movie that will be coming out. Of course, casting hasn't started yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. I hear they are trying desperatly to give it the Batman Begins treatment. Hells yeah.

I certainly don't hate Michael Bay (I just don't think he's a great filmmaker), but some people definately do. I was just wondering. Then again, a trasformers live-action movie is rather odd to begin with, so who knows?

A goofy part of me really IS looking forward to this film. I dug the Transformers but wasn't a HUGE fan (was more into Robotech at the time) but if anyone can do a loud, fun, actiony flic out of the franchise its Michael Bay!
