That's the best kind; if you have to think about it, it never winds up being as good. Like the time when a guy told me he was planning on getting into special education; my knee-jerk response was "As a student, or as a teacher?" Embarrassed the poor guy in front of his girlfriend. The key was that it was stream of consciousness. If I'd thought about it, it wouldn't have the same impact.

I was tempted by the 2 Disc as well. Didn't feel like spending the US$30 on a movie I hadn't seen yet though. I've finally convinced my wife to be okay with me getting an iPod so I don't want to stir up the hornet's nest by buying unnecessary DVDs at the moment. Will probably have my iPod this summer. Only the 15GB though which is fine with me. I can move stuff on and off it as I need. Not that 15GB isn't a helluva lot of songs as it is.

It's still better than the cost of first run, video-store release only VHS tapes. And we don't have to wait. But the one thing I would be willing to wait for would be if studios would only release one version of a movie on DVD and just maybe postpone things in anticipation of that one great release version.
