Do you ever get the feeling that our society has an unhealthy obsession with blonde women?

Yes, but our society, for some reason, also finds shallow and unintelligent as attractive.

And I personally don't see the big deal about blonde women. I'm just not attracted to them for some reason.

There is no lingerie in space…

I find myself liking blonde women less and less with each passing day. I'm not saying I wouldn't date a blonde woman if she seemed nice and maybe showed interests similar to my own, but when Hollywood goes out of its way to tell non-blonde actresses to go blonde for a role or whatever (Nicole Kidman, Laura Prepon, Lindsay Lohan, etc) I find it very off-putting (personally I prefer red heads, even unnatural red heads). And it's always the super white platinum blonde look to boot, which just looks horrible on pretty much everyone no matter how fair their skin may be.

I also have a thing for red heads. I think it has to do with the fact that they are so rare in my neck of the woods. Burnettes and dark haired girls are next. Blondes usually take last place with me. Especially when they have that really high nasily voice. It just drives me up the wall!

yeah i am the same way i lov red heads, and burnettes but the biggy for me is tanned skin

blonds with tanned skin are smokin but those are rare and far between

I don't care much about hair color, I tend to look into other things in women, such as her smile, her eyes, her body... And of course her personallity, her mind, that's my priority.

I think society does tend to focus on blondes. I don't know if this is a society thing or something instinctive. For myself, I don't care what color the hair is. I like it when women have their hair slighty longer than sholder length and not covering the face.

I don't see why it should. One is to drool over hot women. The other is to complain about certain women. It might bring down the fun in the BEAUTIFUL GIRLS thread if people were to start complaining about blondes.
