Info: Thought this one might interest you guys

I dont normally post about additions to my collection here but I thought this particular one might interest you guys here.

Well today is a red letter day for me for a few reasons.
My goal,as a prop collector and star wars fan,since I began collecting original props, was to somehow,someday,someway manage to have at least one screen-used piece (not production-made or used but screen-used) from all six Star Wars films.As of the start of this year I only had AOTC and ESB to get and got my AOTC piece earlier this year and today,finally,have reaslised my prop collecting dream as my piece from ESB is here now and,if I may be allowed a Star Wars quote,“The circle is now complete”.I am over the moon.
So here it is;

Bottom line is every time you see R2 in ESB you see this piece.
I am so excited today to finally complete my screen-used saga collection with some style!

Well I got an opportunity this past weekend to do something that as a collector of original Star Wars pieces one almost never gets to do and I fully expect to never have the opportunity to do again.

In his first ever public appearance and signing session in Northern Ireland Kenny Baker himself was in Belfast and I got the chance to reunite Kenny with a piece of the R2 unit he used over thirty years ago  whilst making Empire.This was a really special moment for me as both a fan and a collector:
