Glad you’re no longer in the hospital. Welcome back to jail!

Even visiting hours are boring here now. It seems that most prisoners are either sleeping, or have been evading their arrests…

Exchanging One single bed for another 😂

One more day and you would’ve been free.

One doesn’t just slip past the imaginary jail cell bars so easily

I left a burning effigy of Stalin on Grover Furr’s doorstep.

Gods for some, miniature libertarian socialist flags for others.

Everyone’s sentence has been halved. Now there are only 5 non-consecutive posts needed, rather than 10.

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

Things are getting too lax in this thread!!1! Sentences should be longer to keep the rest of the forum safe and to keep the rest of us safe from shitposting!!1!!1

On a different note, I think it would have been really fun if instead of temporary bans, users who were misbehaving were actually restricted to posting in a jail thread until they’d served their time (with good behaviour, of course).

Isn’t that what we’re doing now? No one is actually banned, just held to post here until they serve the time.

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

I was envisioning a scenario in which people who were actually banned were, instead of being unable to post at all, enabled to post in a specific thread and sort of “earn their way out” rather than being unable to participate in the forum altogether. In other words, a mod-enforced jail thread as an alternative to outright banning. Everyone would be free to visit, but temp-banned users wouldn’t be able to post outside the thread.

It was just a hypothetical, to be clear, not a suggestion for what we should do with this thread.

Wow I got jailed all the way back in 2023 lol, am I still behind bars now? I’ve been absent for awhile and slowly catching up with things now.
Hope everyone here is all ok.

I think your prison sentence expired. As did this thread, apparently.

How about mine? I saw the prison break episode from Andor, so I should be good? Heck, I’ve even gotten into the old Expanded Universe novels during my jail time.

The name’s Lawson. Noah Lawson.

I’m sorry are you talking about suicide or am I missing something?

The reason for my Hiatus was My Mother had a series of mini strokes which left her with very limited mobility, 4 months after that my Father got diagnosed with stage four lung cancer.
Both are doing ok now but this time last year I lost my best friend and after that my health took a bad turn last year, during a works medical I got diagnosed with very high blood pressure to the point that I was borderline for a stroke, Got stopped from driving as I had also developed sleep apnoea and type 2 diabetes.

Long story short it has taken me 9 months to get everything back to normal and be able to return to work, which you have no idea of how grateful and happy I am for as at one point I did not think I would be able to and didn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel for awhile.

Wow, what a year! Glad you’re doing OK now and welcome back.
