Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and sometimes a hole is just a hole, but sometimes a cigar just wants to go in a hole, so I'm afraid I have to ask:
Did you put the cigar in the hole?
I read Holes once. I've forgotten pretty much all of it, though. And I never saw the movie.

It wasn't a terrible movie, of course I was in my teens when it came out, and had already been a fan of the book.
It was back when Sleepy LaBeef was an enthusiastic young actor, with a certain likeable quirkiness.
He later became Shia LaBeouf, an ass HOLE.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

This thread is now about Bingowings.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
Sure, why not?
Remember that time Bingowings put that snake down little Betsy's dress? I don't think Ms. Axlerod was much impressed.
Why did he leave?
