Yanni Live - The Concert Event ahead of OOT DVD in Amazon Pre-Orders!

"Among many things I have to be thankful for are you, the fans. I know that some of you haven't liked every single thing that I've done with the saga, and that you have a strong sense of ownership over all things Star Wars. But take that passion and devotion and channel it into a creative project of your own."

Point of clarification: These are not the OOT DVD's - the OOT is the "bonus feature" of each disk.

Having said that, you know why these DVD's haven't been pre-ordered more, right?

1) Lucas goes and fucks with the Original Trilogy with his 1997 Pointless Changes Edition
2) Lucas announces that the OUT will not be made available, calling it "half-finished"
3) Lucas releases Star Wars: Pointless Changes 2.0 in 2004 and again in 2005, then (sort of) relents on the "No OT on DVD" stance for a 2006 release, but the presentation of the OUT is deliberately substandard so as to make the PCE look better
4) The casual SW fan sees no need to buy the same films released in each of the past two years
5) Lucas apologists rejoice as the sabotage of the OUT produces the desired effect

I'm glad you're pleased, JediRandy. It takes a special individual to feel happy with the misery of others. I can't do that. I felt so badly for you and your kind when Jar-Jar Binks went from The Big Star of TPM to the non-existent nothing of AOTC and ROTS. How that must have hurt, to all but lose the true icon of Lucas' new empire. Oh well. He's not dead - as long as we remember him.

BTW, what are you going to do with all of those Yanni DVD's?

Want to book yourself or a guest on THE VFP Show? PM me!

Hey! I really like Yanni. I'd buy that DVD before I'd ever buy the 2004 DVDs a second time to own a bootleg quality "bonus disc" DVD of the original trilogy.

ROTFLMAO! THAT would certainly explain JediRandy's antagonism.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

Great Post, man...

Actually, I'm going to enjoy my Yanni DVD as it is NOT a non-anamorphic transfer. Yanni Mullet and Mustache in High Def, Baby!

Poor Randy. He just doesn't get why he's so mistreated here........

One might even say he's clueless.

"the last bastion of the OOT brethren."

More true colors. Tell me, again, who is forcing you to post here? I thought so.

"Mistreated"? If anything you're a gnat, you have been since the JCC.

LOL....some people just have a gift with words, don't they?

I wonder if that kind of comment is the last bastion of overly frustrated Lucas-lovers, banned TF.n'ers, or just morons in general.

Hell, this might be fun. I always wondered what it would be like to be a gnat.
