I don't hate the fact that my brother is finally getting into RE4.

I'm a bit miffed that I can't play the Gamecube until he's done, though.

Hmm, I don't know anyone who watches baseball outside of this forum.

When was the last time the Cubs won the uh... tournament or whatever it's called? I don't know anything about baseball, but I know the Cubs is this supposedly cursed team, right?

World Series (yeah, yeah, I know... not really the "world", right?). Yes, they are supposedly cursed. But so were the Red Sox. Before this past season, the Cubs haven't won the Series since 1908, the Red Sox since 1916, and the White Sox since 1918. Both the Cubs and BoSox were "cursed" with the Billy Goat Curse and the Curse of the Bambino, respectively. But the BoSox overturned that this past year. Now it's the Cubs turn. If the BoSox can overcome their curse, so can the Cubs.

Actually, to me Enterprise was the weakest of the spinoffs by far (thought it made some good strides this year), followed by Voyager, then TNG, with DS9 (imo) at top. Jolene just gave me two good reasons to tune in once in a while :-)

Meh, Voyager was a major suckfest IMO, it goes down at the bottom of my list:

1. TNG
2. Enterprise
3. TOS
4. DS9
5. Voyager

Wow...I'm surprised you rated TNG and Ent above TOS. I think the characters were hands down better in the original than any of the others. The utopian vision of Rodenberry hadn't poisoned it as much as the spinoffs. Killed everything from DS9 down, IMO, although DS9 had many other things going for it. TNG was socialist fantasy at best, again IMO.

Wal Mart has killed the old style of doing business in the US. So many thousands of mom-and-pop and specialty stores have closed their doors because they just cannot compete with Wal Mart. I have several friends who either have closed their stores or are about to because of Wal Marts coming into their areas and just killing them.

Read any marketing book for examples of why Wal Mart is both genius and tyrant in the business world. Don't just assume that low prices are better.


that is why I never ever buy anything at Wallmart. not even so much as a stick of chewing gum. They will not get a penny out of me. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

I do. That means the older members of my family will be watching TV inceasantly and every other discussion at school will be about baseball.
