If you have one of those big exercise balls, do some sit ups on it. Another good one to try is side bends with a dumbbell in one hand. Stand completely upright with a dumbbell in one hand and lean down to the side bending at the waist (keep your lower body completely still) and then come back up. This usually wrenches my back into the proper place and gets rid of any kinks.

One that works really well for the upper back, but is more of a stretching exercise, is to stand upright, raise one hand high above your head, bend the arm at the elbow, grasp elbow with other hand and pull. repeat for the other side.
