Nothing there that can't be found at any other huge corporation like Microsoft or IBM.

Technology doesn't impress me like it used to anyway....

...and working at LFL these days impresses me even less.

All that money and technology and LaserDisc transfers are the best they can offer us???

Wow! that's very ...unimpressive. It looks like any "making of" documentary about modern movies (bunch of guys in front of computers).

I can easily picture one of these hard drives with a small label on it: "Original Unaltered Trilogy - HD master - Use for anything else than digital modifications is forbidden"

True, and it doesn't have to be a huge corporation either. We have those very same NetApp racks in our server room. We use them to handle all our 3D seismic data. Those aren't anything special.
