So for my first question who is your favorite character.

Also do you think that dumbledore is actually dead? Do you think snape is evil?
Author

Dumbledore is probably dead but probably asked Snape to mercy-kill him.

yes i think snape is good still and dumbledore is dea but i dont think he is fully dead, expect to see him return maybe as a ghost or something. i think dumbledore knew he was going to died so and so cast some sort of magic to alow him to remain around for a short time after his death.

I think he's fully dead. If he came back as a ghost or whatever, there would have been no point in him dying in the first place. Harry is going to have to stand alone now.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

yeah well i donno as a ghost dumbledore can't do anything for harry expect tell him stuff, so harry still stands alone cause a ghost dumbledore cant protect him in any way. think of when yoda and Obiwan died, luke still had to stand alone but they were there to guild him with info.

Yes, but the 'ghost mechanics' of the Star Wars universe are different to those of the Harry Potter universe. Incidentally, they don't really do all that much with the ghosts in the HP films. I forget which HP book explains why some people become ghosts rather than passing on. In any case, it would cheapen the emotional impact of Dumbledore's death to have him come back as a ghost. Sidenote: I am hoping that John Williams comes back for the 6th instalment in the film franchise, just to hear what he would do with that whole sequence musically.

It was at the end of Order of the Phoenix. Harry confronts Nearly Headless Nick to ask him if Sirius could become a ghost.

Since you follow from Harry's point of view almost exclusively throughout all the books, I'd be hard-pressed not to say him. But besides Harry, I'm quite fond of Neville Longbottom and Cedric Diggory. Neville's a very interesting and sympathetic character in his own right before (since you're reading Order for the first time, sean, I suggest you not read this next part too closely) you find out that the prophecy could have just as easily been about him (okay, we're safe now). And Cedric, I can't explain why I liked him. I'm sure the martyr factor figures into it a lot, but I liked him the first time I read the book, which is why his death came as such a blow to me. I like the fact how his public persona of a pretty-boy champion was built up by those around him, while the real Cedric was much more modest and kind.

You seriously expect Harry to live through it all?
Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

"Stay back, or Mr...Fett gets it!"

Author
Time
yeah i think its just speculation.

lol it would be funny if harry was dyed. lol sry man i just had to

I doubt Harry will die. I doubt JK wants to eliminate any chance of being able to write an eighth book. I doubt she wants to eliminate any kind HP after the seventhy story. She wouldn't want to close all doors.
