I find it kinda hard to accept the word of the head of a homeschooling catholic cooperative in Alabama against Greenpeace.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

I thought that oil being a renewable resource was common sense.

Even if it requires organic material... we sort of have plenty of that on the surface.

The definition of Renewable is that it can regrow/replinish within 100 years.

A tree being renewable and a forest not.
"I don't mind if you don't like my manners. I don't like them myself. They're pretty bad. I grieve over them during the long winter evenings."

Even if scientists found out oil is growing from thin air, and it's not (I don't care what a oil-company financed "researcher" says on the news), I'd still recommend searching for clean, renewable sources of energy, like solar evergy and hydrogen.

that would be good, as long as they worked well as oil.

you dont understand, do you know how much oil it takes to make a oil panel and is used in windmills and hte creation of hydrogen. it is very difficult to use those energy supplies if you dont have a supply of oil. the idea behind them is that once they are made you dont need to use oil to keep them running.

the biggest thing is to create a viable commercal vecihle that doesnt use patrolium. that hasnt been done yet. hydrogen is not a good option cus we cant store it safely 'yet'. and electric cars just dont work.
