The Worst Scene/Sequence in Any Star Wars Film — Page 14

If I had to decide the worst scene of every movie, I would say:

SW’77: The trash compactor
ANH-SE: Han meets Jabba
ESB: The asteroid slug
ESB-SE: Vader’s shuttle
ROTJ: Ewoks kill stormtroopers
ROTJ-SE: Jedi Rocks
TPM: Jar-Jar’s introduction
AOTC: The fireplace scene
ROTS: Anakin kills younglings
TFA: “It’s another Death Star”
TLJ: The space horse chase
TROS: “You are a Palpatine”

I can’t decide which moment is the worst out of all of them.

It’s easy for you to say that, but I’m not sure if the Rey Palpatine reveal is any worse than some of the stuff in the prequels. That fireplace scene… shudders

The great thing about the fireplace scene is that it can be removed without any fuss. The absolute worst scenes are ones that sit there, essential and immovable (without a lot of editing anyway), making everything else worse by their crappy presence.

Yeah, I forgot. Sometimes I forget those movies even existed. If I had to pick the worst scene, I would choose:

Rogue One: Walrus Man’s cameo
Solo: Han getting his name

What’s worse is when he lost it again. I hear it was quite a drag.

Who’s in charge now Phasma is certainly up there.

The scene in Revenge of the Sith when Anakin is starring at Padme and she says, “then love has blinded you?” Natalie looks very strange in that scene, its an akward and cringeworthy scene to begin with, but it feels like some editing waa done or they angles they shot it at were not good, because she Padme looks very odd looking in that one scene. The rest of movie she looks fine.

I think it’s the lighting. I’m impressed with how well her hairs are showing up in front of the greenscreen background, but the lighting is bad. I do not know enough to say more than that.

Also the double establishing shot is weird and both of them are bad
