Photoshop request Part 2 (was: Photoshop request)

Sup, my peeps!  I had a friend send me a picture to photoshop some lightsabers on to it.  But Lazy Sluggo, was lazy.  Can I con anyone into doing it for me?

I did a quick mockup but I can't seem to gt the angles right. Got any better shots than this one?

I didn't know that both Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee were left handed.

The swords are for show the real weapons are their right hands.

Okay, Here's the direction I was headed in. Not entirely happy with it. And hadn't done handles yet.

and here is where my idea started going off the rails.

You should do a whole set of those with Norris and Lee dueling with laser versions of all the signs of the zodiac, it would make a great animated GIF especially if Norris bounced up and down and Lee suddenly threw his reply back after pulling some mad as a brush face.

I've got another request for help for someone talented in the photoshop arts.  I have an old family picture of my Mom and her family.  It was in the sun for a number of years and is a bit faded.  Does anyone think they could correct the colors?  The edges of the picture were under the frame and still are the original colors, so that might help.

If I could swap some fan-edits, complete with covers and printed disc art, I'd love to make a deal with somebody.

When my father died the only wedding photos my mother had were sample snaps which had a big white circle covering the middle (they couldn't afford to pay for the actual photos) and my niece when she was a baby had torn them.

It was back in the early nineties but I got the fragments scanned and I used something like Photoshop (I'm entirely sure if it was an early version or a similar program) on one of the computers at university to digitally fill in the hole using photographs from the location and sampling from what was there and got rid of the tear.

I then photographed the new picture from a large monitor and created new negatives.

For it's day it really wasn't bad.

I would be very willing to attempt to help you out Sluggo.

Projects like that are very rewarding because they are personal and like Leonardo I like a good challenge.

Thanks guys.  I appreciate the help.  The original photo must have been printed on some pretty cheap paper as all of the copies my aunts and uncles have are equally faded, if not worse.  If these efforts turn out well, I'll print them out copies also.

I'm not as good as Johnny Ringo and Sir Bingowings, but I'll have a go too if you'd like.

anyone else working on this? [brother Bingo?] - I've been getting some somewhat promising results thus far.

Slugs - does it matter about the border area or will that probably be covered again?

It probably doesn't matter about that border area.  It would be great if it could be salvaged, but I'm not going to sweat it if it is cut.
