The WD Classics logo I used was from a 1988 LD of Cinderella. (It's the variant called "Metal Diamond" and is also on the 1988 VHS.)

Well, I think it's safe to say that the image of this LD is a close match to the original. I will post some screen captures and share them with some competent people that might confirm this, though. Molly, do you have the collector's edition of Cinderella ?

I have that edition, though my transferring method is just not as refined as Molly's. Is there anything you want to know about the release?

Don't take it personally, I just wanted to tell that I can share those with peple who are directly in the industry and worked in the past with some of the artists at Disney's. If you know some yourself, go ahead "Be my guest". By the way, if you want to do the sceen caps, go ahead and if possible send them to me, please

Well I woul like to find a way to preserve the bonuses the best way possible since many of them were not ported to the dvd and BR release. Same thing for Snow White, Alice and 3 caballeros/Saludos Amigos.

LOL, my "transferring method" is a DVD recorder... I just filter the output a bit and reauthor.

MySpleen seemed to have been cool with SotS up until now. Will the allow new versions?
Edit: I used to do caps on my PC directly... and I'm actually happier going to a DVD recorder instead.
What I've started doing with that now is:
1 hour/DVD record speed, double capture, cut together both versions with Womble, merge (making sure the frames are in sync all the way through), inverse telecine (and whatever else), re-encode.

I think I found one of my caps of the Academy Lady. I'd like to try to clean it up a little before I do anything with it.
Actually, what it is is a Side A from one cap, and a Side B from another. I ripped it 5 times because I wanted to hand it off to someone else to clean up but he refused to touch anything that has been encoded in MPEG-2.

Call me crazy, but I think a split screen showing the Cinemascope LATT and the academy version side by side in sync would be really cool.

Could be nice. But is there any equivalent on BR to the "angle" option that were present on DVD ? I mean, except the "Picture in picture" option ? I didn'see, yet, something close to if...

Hi, anyone here got the "Work In Progress" from BatB LD ? I'm asking, because apparently some elements are missing on the one showed on the BR, so I would like to do come comparisons before going further with my project that I will share with some of you, if you're interested.

I quit. I'm tearing my hair out trying to find the safest way to share some of these.
Little Mermaid, Aladdin, SotS (and some non-Disney) stuff are ready to be upped, but I don't know how.
MySpleen is sort of gone, I don't know any other private trackers people would go for, usenets have complications and a lot of people won't use them, file storage sites are safe for d/l, but not really uploading.
Mediafire doesn't seem to work with the proxies I've tried, and I'm not prepared to start uploading there without one. (I got DMCA'd once for a sample fan edit clip that was under 1 minute.)
Maybe going back to pay-it-forward isn't such a bad idea.

I originally planned to make a 3-disc set including a cleaned-up encode of the regular laserdisc, an encode of the WIP, the "Sing-Along Songs" from VHS (with improved audio) and a combination of bonus features from the DVDs and the laserdiscs, but never finished that.

@ monks19, I got it all downloaded and am now seeding, perhaps you can try and restart your client.
Anyway, I remuxed the 4 dvd's and edited a bit to remove the loading screens (Although there are two instances with half a second of a black screen before the side changes, but nothing too major).
If you'd like, I can upload it for you.
