Go to the 1 hr. mark, watch from there for a few minutes, the flying and on fire space turd fighters seem to use part of the tie fighter sound.

I’m so tired of the Wilhelm scream. They even show couple of TV commercials which have it. I hear the scream almost every day somewhere to the point it has been ruined for me even when watching the OT. Ugh.

Something similar to the TIE fighter sound can be heard in The Lost World (1960) in a scene
whith two “dinosaurs” fighting.

Yeah I felt that way the first billion times. But time 1,000,000,001 was a bridge too far.
