that's a really good point. that and i remember in the matrix remember how agent smith was saying that we are more like parasites or something? i can't remember the exact line now, but i know he comparing us to something very bad due to our over-usage of resources. which is totally true, i was painfully subjected to all of that human population ecology stuff in a second year class.

It's a funny thing, you know. Of all the species on the earth, we are the only ones who are not harmonious with nature. We think we are above it, yet we sure do use it a lot.

and the line from the matrix was that human begins most resemble viruses, because we move into an area, reproduce exponetually, and use up all the resources until the area has nothing then we pick up and move to another place.

its a very chilling analogy. cause its very true.
