I hate having serious workplace anxiety. I'm on medication for it now.

Please do excuse me if I'm being inquisitive, or asking personal stuff you rather not discussed at an open forum, but what would be the difference between a workplace anxiety, and regular anxiety? Is it related and/or happens only to the workplace? (I too suffer from a few conditions, so I know how that is, belive me)

No problemo on asking. I put it out there, afterall.

I should clarify that I have "situational" anxiety. Meaning, I feel fine most of the time, until I...go to work. Or have to go to a social function. Or have to deal with my in-laws. That type of thing. I've never been diagnosed with fully-blown generalized anxiety.

It's more of a social anxiety then, right? I'm a bit like that too, but for other reasons (asperger's) .
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

I would say it tends more towards that, correct. However, the workplace piece of the puzzle is the worst, because I....work for someone who is just like a psychological vampire. Totally saps my will to live, and they are a family member, so I've still got to live with it outside work.

Well, hang in there, and you will be able to get yourself out of this situation and will feel better real soon.

Sh*t sage, sounds bad. Funny you mention it because I have been suffering from a bout of anxiety lately and I can't figure out why. I'm talking shortness of breath, weird feeling in my stomach, the works. I've had anxiety issues in the past and unless I know you and feel comfortable I'm not the best socially, but this is different. Anyway, I hope it gets better for you soon.

Heh...Amazing how quickly the blossom falls off the rose in the beginning of the relationship. I got along great with them in the beginning. After that, it was all down-hill.

I've been able to get out of pretty bad situations like a mental hospita. If I can get out of a bad situation I think you can too and I hope you do.

Yikes! Try removing it... How do you know you have a trojan horse at your computer? If your anti virus detected it, it should be able to remove it. If you found out by yourself, try looking at the symantec website, there are instructions for manual removal of thousands of virus, trojans and ads there...

Well, see, my Norton is expired, and my dad never bothered renewing it, so now I get a pop-up that pretty much says "Hey, You have a Trojan! Sucks to be you!" then leaves.

I hate when my computer gets a virus. I think we can all agree on that.

I hate the fact that they've gone and released an 'ultimate edition' of Back to the Future on DVD, because now I'm gonna have to buy it. Why can't they just get it right the first time?

What's on it? They released the complete trilogy here about 3 years ago as a boxed set.

Yeah I know, and I bought it. Now apparently there is a new 4 disc boxset, but exactly what's on it I don't know.

I hate the fact that the moment you come back, you start bashing Rick again. Old news, man.

I also hate it when the caffine in my system doesn't friggin' work.

What Chaltab just said. But not the bit about the caffeine.

Rick just makes me sick, the way he glorifies every single move or thought Lucas has. I mean, does he get paid THAT much?!? I have never hreard him seriously criticize Lucas. The closest he got was "I begged him to put it back in and was just heartbroken to see it cut."
