tried to post this yesterday during the time the database was full. which is something I hate...we need to stop threads like the counting thread cause they just eat up database space.

Probably a dumb question but how do you have it configured? You realize FF does not run JavaScript by default for security reasons...


I dont as I dont use it, but my boss switched (not sure if he permenatly switched or was just trying it out) to it and then when a web based program didnt behave the way it was supposed to he brings it up to me, but never mentioned the fact that he had switched browsers. the thing is, the whole reason the program even uses java script is because he wanted pressing the enter key in a field to act as a tab ('because thats what people are used to', in my experiences not in web sites but whatever) so to do that i catch the enter key and replace it with a tab, then send it on to the browser using java script.

though, if firefox isnt configured to use java script that would explain why it completely ignores that code

I hate listening to Bryan Singer's self-promotion for himself and his misbegotten Superman Returns.

"I identify with Superman. I am adopted, I am an only child, and I love the idea that he comes from another world, that he's the ultimate immigrant. He has all these extraordinary powers, and he has a righteousness about him."

Other Singer bites I hate -

[About Superman's costume for 'Superman Returns']: "I always had the general idea of the suit. With X-Men, although they had extraordinary powers, they also had physical weaknesses. The suits were for protection as well as costume. Superman is the Man of Steel. Bullets bounce off him, not the suit."

[Talking about casting Brandon Routh as Superman/Clark Kent in the new Superman film]: "I was always dead set on casting an unknown. Brandon embodied the character the best - his acting talent, physical presence and personality."

"Superman has always been about Lois Lane, Superman and Clark Kent and this love triangle between these three people who really are only two people."

This kind of crap just annoys the hell out of me.

The star wars prequels, special editions, extra special edition 2004, and ultra super duper 2007 special editions.

reality television, retarded studio types who cancel good sci fi shows like enterprise to show britney spear reality show. Again Retarded studio types who thought it would be cool to make nemesis and ruin star trek the next generation franchise, and studio types who thought firing pierce brosnan as bond would be a good choice. Casino Royale should be boycotted by true bond fans, and Brannon and Braga, ronald moore and rick berman should'nt be allowed to work in sci fi again. ALL THE P'MOUNT suits who like berman should be fired, same for those who had enterprise cancelled just when the show became good. The roddenberry family should get back the rights to the franchise, if star trek can ever be saved. I hate " the man reponsible for everything" for ruining star wars and not making 7-9. I hate that Peter Jackson decided to do king kong, instead of the hobbit, and i hate thAT INDIANA JONES 4 is taking so friggin long.

I hate that Indiana Jones 4 is even being CONSIDERED, much less actually being in the works. Considering both Lucas' and Spielberg's creative output over the last few years, i think this film has "Disaster" written all over it. Perhaps they'll actually use the old abandoned plotline about the Monkey King of Africa?
