Thanks, I’m happy to know that someone appreciated my work!

Are you going to work on the 4k mastered from the original camera negatives blu ray released by arrow? It has one major issue and it is grain reduction. Side note what’s your latest regrade and where can i find updates on your regrades?

Actually, there’s been no grain reduction, according to the guy who encoded the disk. The original photography is just a bit soft in spots. The Scream transfer has likely been artificially sharpened. Someone claims to have taken the Arrow version and put it into After Effects and boosted the sharpness to get it to look virtually the same as the Scream Factory.

Thinking to use the Arrow as a source for a new version, but can’t say if/when I’ll do that, though! 😄

I’m still gonna keep the Universal UK Blu-ray disc and this V2 BD25. Going to buy the Scream release more for the bonus features and the Arrow for watching the film. Haven’t gotten around to either.
Who cares.

it appears there’s gonna be a 4K next year that Universal is releasing utilizing the same master as the Arrow release and Shout! Factory steelbook
