Vashti, an eccentric out of work actress, spends all her time in her apartment with her pet owl and her telephone, which she uses to try and solve all her problems with life.

A completely remastered preservation of this strange art-house comedy exercise, sourced from a newly found print far superior to the terrible and oop official DVD (cf. comparison screengrabs below).

Never do I! New master quality is really astounding in comparison; is it HD or SD?

It's SD and open-matte. The official DVD is a horrible video transfer and apparently, there are copyrights problems for this film. I doubt there'll ever be an HD transfer of this "oddity" ;-)

I’m new here, registered today, and I’m from Italy so I’m sorry if my english sucks… I write because I would love to see this movie, The Telephone, with english subtitles. Where can I get this remastered dvd version?
