I made this thread because I noticed that the users who created many interesting edits have stopped posting, and have probably just abandoned the site.
I also wanted to give people who sign up just to ask for fan edits a place to put their requests.
So if you want to ask for a fan edit, put your request here.
I’ll start. I really want to see darthrush’s edits of ROTJ, TFA and TLJ, but he hasn’t posted since November. Does anyone have them?
I don’t think Darthrush ever finished his TFA or TLJ edits, did he? I was interested in those myself.

(personally I like darthrush’s ‘Return of the Jedi - Remastered’, and am looking forward to adywan’s ‘ROTJ Revisited’, and snooker’s ‘Revenge of the Jedi’ - when they are finished, of course)

I would be immensely grateful for a link to Daneditor’s The Phantom Menace: Radical Re-Edit (or even the rough early version, known as the Lone Gungan edit). I tried messaging him but he has been seemingly inactive for a couple of years.
What is the name of the fan-edit that basically focuses on media coverage on Star Wars: Episode III? I’m pretty sure the name has something to do with the phrase “backslap with media” and that the edit is edited like you’re channel-surfing.

But very interested in the Adywan 1080p ESB respecialized 1997 edit, in addition to the highest quality edit of ROTJ that has both victory celebration and the Sebastian Shaw ghost (I’m sorry, I must be one of the few fans who loved Jedi before 1997 but have not missed yub nub one bit). I was pretty young then - maybe that’s why.
So far I’d say the winner is dillary trump’s 1997 edit - though I have recently acquired kk650’s semi specialised too, yet to watch start to finish.
I would also be interested in the HDTV versions (any and all).
I have also used MakeMKV to extract Adywan’s ANH DVD9 from his iso, and will happily put that on my Google drive for others to download if interested. I am not home currently home so may not upload that for a week or two. I can PM people links when I do

Something like this already exists - specifically, someone took the higher resolution PAL DVD9 video track (720x576), changed the framerate flag to 23.976fps, and muxed in the NTSC DVD9 Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track into an MKV.
It’s the best video quality available (highest resolution) combined with the best audio quality available (no PAL speedup) without any reencoding done to either track. I know it’s uploaded on MySpleen and has been shared elsewhere as well.

I did not know this! Sadly, I’ve no myspleen account, so if anyone else cam share for others I’m sure that would be appreciated. If not, I’d be happy to share, though as Ash said, probably not the highest quality version.
