’…first transport is away. I repeat, the first transport is away.'

In 2005, in cinemas everywhere, millions of people experienced a movie they’d waited almost thirty years to see. Star Wars Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith. However, as well as the movie, thanks to the internet and subsequent DVD release, fans have been offered a unique view of the secrets of the making of a Star Wars movie.

Now, from first time editor Daveytod comes ‘The Sith Revealed - A Scrapbook’, giving fans the chance to see the behind-the-scenes production at work. From bluescreen performances, to concept art, pre-visualisation, and animatics, it’s all presented here, incorporated into the original movie, in ‘The Sith Revealed - A Scrapbook’.

The first batch of copies have gone out today, so feel free to leave you comments and critisicms here.

Here’s the link to a quick cover I threw together:

EDIT - I’m hoping that eventually this will find its way into the hands of someone who can upload this to myspleen or similar to make it available to as many people as possible

Hi all,

Well when I got a peek at Daveytods piece of work, I must admit, I didnt have a clue what to expect. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement . When you consider this is his 1st attempt at combining both the movie & such things as snippets of orginal storyboards, blue screen moments, general behind the scenes footage, etc its a bold scheme & works very well

Keep 'em comin dude

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

This arrived today and, having watched the first 15 minutes, I am very impressed with the whole concept.

After a while, I even stopped noticing the BTS stuff and was watching as if it was the film proper. The BTS fitted in so well.........

I for one hope to see the prequel and the prequel to the prequel.

Probably the best thing to come out of Wales since the M4 Motorway.................!!

I give the concept 10/10

Just a quick word to thank everyone for their support (it's late, I'm drunk, I love you guys (slurs)). I know The Sith Revealed is no Deleted Magic or Building Empire, but I thoroughly enjoyed working on it, and look forward to revisiting it as more material becomes available and my skills (hopefully) improve

Hi all,

Just posted a thread at myspleen offering to upload this:

http://myspleen.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1151

If I do, would anyone be interested in helping seed? (Russs15, I'm gonna take you up on your kind offer, thanks). What format would be best do upload? An image file, or the ripped VOB files?

If you just post the vob/ifo/bup files off the original disc that you copied for me and others as well as any jpeg or nfo files you wish to post you should be fine.

Image files are better than individual files as people have an exact copy of your original. But six months down the line, the image is now burned to DVD and the image file long since trashed, it is nearly impossible to go back and re-seed.

You only have to look at the Moth3r ANH and ESB to see the problem.
