He has Maria by his side, complementing his strengths, compensating for his weaknesses. Around 1990, George realizes that he does not need any more advanced special effects to make more Star Wars films; he just needs good stories. He makes the ST focusing on Luke’s efforts to rebuild the Jedi and Leia’s efforts to rebuild the Republic. The films are released in 1993, 1995, and 1997.
