I'm going to watch The Secret of NIMH right now. It's been about 25 years!

Thanks, I did! My memory is sketchy but wasn't there a lot more in the book about the rats being at NIMH and getting smart and stuff? That was the most interesting part. I enjoyed the animation more than the movie itself, but I'll give it 6/10.
Watching it reminded me of another animated movie I saw at roughly the same age - Watership Down. That was one of the most intense animated stories I've seen (that is regarded as suitable for children), though that Bright Eyes song has always annoyed me.

They cut out everything after the escape from NIMH, too. They also cut out the library scene where Isabella is introduced. It'd be cool if a Secret of NIMH 3 introduced Isabella...

I recently read a rumor that there will be a Live Action/CGI remake of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. I looked it up on IMDB, and it's definitely there: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1482456/.

Let me explain how I work. Whenever there's a movie or movie franchise that I'm into, I'm usually obsessed with it for months! Then, eventually, I temporarily lose interest and become obsessed over something else. Like a fad, except I still like everything I'm obsessed with even after I'm done obsessing. For example, I made my avatar when I was obsessed with Scamper the Penguin.
BTW, the Secret of NIMH Videos I'm editing do involve Star Wars. ;)
