For my “sign in” slot I’d ideally like to have AI Benicio Del Toro say the following: “Libertine, standing by. Living free, joining up!”

The Libertine is the ship DJ and gang stole in TLJ and I’d love to see some redemption for his character in this film even if its more of an easter egg. The second part is the inverse of his signature phrase: “Live free, don’t join.”

Speaking of characters getting redemption via cameos, would it be too over-the-top to suggest that Jar Jar himself showed up at the battle? Cause he has a lot of dialogue from Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and I think it could be a fun easter egg.

When the fleet first shows up he could say “Jar Jar Binks here to helps” (from 0:40) and then maybe when a Star Destroyer blows up he could say “Meesa good at dis!” (from 1:59).

You’ve got to ask yourself one question: “Am I making Carrie Fisher’s ghost proud?”
Well, are ya, punk?

Could have a voice AI of Temuera saying, “This is Mandalore, standing by.” He became Mandalore in Legends, didn’t he?

Well, I probably wouldn’t have things like that be audible, large canon defining stuff.

But if someone sent me “I’m Jar Jar and I’m pooping my pants,” I’d still include it to maintain including something from everyone even if I’d bury it in the mix.

This is where my crappy Wookiee roar will come to shine. 😄

I’m sure this has probably been suggested before as a fix and I know would take a lot of work to fix, but oh boy is them crashing the Falcon to “land” on Kef Bir is such a forehead slapping moment. The complete disregard for any attempt at believable physics is one of the things that define the JJ Star Wars films.

The Falcon crashes way harder in TFA on Starkiller Base so I’m not sure it’s worth all that effort.

Come to think of it, it’s kinda strange that the Falcon didn’t need repairs after that. Chewbacca realistically shouldn’t have been able to pick up Rey and Finn because he’d be stranded haha. But that’s neither here nor there.

This sounds like a huge undertaking! I’d love a link to check it out. I’m also hoping to watch your Episode 1 edit, if I could provide the link for it, please. Thank you!

I think it’s important now that through the power of AI, we should re-incorporate C-3PO’s very important line of “Throw the bones at it!” during the scene where the sand worm goes to attack them all on Pasaana.

(Obviously joking of course but this was legitimately an ADR voice line/joke Ben Schwartz wrote for the film that they never did.)

Would it be possible to regenerate our two new Leia lines? (“He’s too dangerous” and “A Jedi needs her weapon.”) They don’t sound bad, but they’re crispier and cracklier than the other AI lines.

And I wonder if we can do any better of a line for Poe about the Final Order fleet than “Each ship has been modified with dreadnaught-tier laser cannons.” I think if it had been in the theatrical I’d have rolled my eyes real hard. Perhaps something like, “Our forces (or The Republic’s forces) are completely inferior,” or “We couldn’t hope to challenge them.”

I just started up a new job but I can try to get to that this weekend.

Thanks!

BTW, do you mean the voice is crispier and cracklier or is there some AI residue in the background?

I believe some EQ / general audio work might be able to solve that. I particularly like the current Jedi line delivery so I’d ideally like to preserve it.

Awesome! This project is back in business!

Hello There (Again), I’ve been super busy with College for awhile now, but It’s amazing to see all these great AI implementations. Had no idea the extent / level of things that were happening again.

I just got my laptop back tonight. The SSD on it got fried this past Sunday. Luckily I backed up a lot of the audio source files for AI on my drive. And of course most of it still exists on the ElevenLabs site itself. Like I said, hopefully I can get to it this weekend but no promises.

No pressure or hurry. What I’ve got at preset is perfectly adequate even if nothing further comes about.

And hoping for the best for your computer. If the drive is fried hopefully that’s all it was.
