The R.I.P. Thread

Author
Time
I thought it best to just open a single thread to which we can post our R.I.P. messages for the dearly departed. And on the heels of Don Knotts and Darren McGavin, we have another great soul lost this week:

R.I.P. Dennis Weaver. Perhaps now you can identify that faceless truck driver you sparred with in Duel.

Res In Peace, Mr. Weaver.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

RIP Dana Reeve. You're with your husband now. They were such amazing people and it's a shame that they have both left this world... at least they left this world with a sense of accomplishment. They birghtened many people's days, especially their son's. I hope he copes with their deaths and gets proper care. I can't imagine what he is going through. God bless their family in this time of tragedy.

RIP Robert Howell Brooks.

For the record, this man was not some sleazy guy. Yes he gave the world Hooters (the restaurant chain), but he also ran the Eastern Foods conglomerate, which includes the Naturally Fresh food line. He was a philanthropist, donating millions to the improvement of sports and fine arts programs across South Carolina. Sure, he built football stadiums and bought jumbotrons for football programs, but he also built one of the great fine arts centers. He even developed a collegiate major for motorsports engineering (yep, NASCAR is a college major now). He was considered one of the south's finest entrepreneurs.

Mr. Brooks, your mark on business will be remembered as a positive one. You will be sorely missed.

Wait... What's wrong with Football and Jumbotrons? Sounds like a good guy.

RIP.

RIP the guy who played the old guardian on the I/O tower on Tron. I forgot his name, but I know he died recently. Freaky, because I bought the Tron DVD a few days ago.

All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. Hm, that explains why the character wasn't included in the Tron level in Kingdom Hearts 2.

RIP.

Read the article. He was much more than the guy behind Hooters. Heck, he was the guy behind friggin' non-dairy creamer, which even I didn't know.
